OVERVIEW
The pinkuyo is an indirect blowing flute, of which the mouthpiece is similar to the recorder's. It is employed -on different variations- in many areas of the Andean region.
Our pinkuyos are made mainly of bamboo cane, and they are fingered in the same way as a quena.

With the pinkuyos that we regularly produce, you will be able to employ whichever of them, but only if you place your left hand above and your right hand below. If you do the opposite, however, just let us know, and we will make the pinkuyo you need for that purpose.
